So this last picture, is a picture of a "bluff" ...which I researched, and they are said to have been created by the lake that used to consume pretty much all of wisconsin, these BLUFFS were like islands.. and as the Lake went away it eroded the islands to make them now appear as they are... *sticking straight up* out of the ground! They really are beautiful at night when the sun is setting across them. Some have paths and trails leading up, one or two.. you can actually drive up.. but me and John will one day this summer get to the top and take pictures! :)
I didnt really like the pics we took on Volk Field that day, for one... its was soooo cold, because of the wind chill... and then all the snow was melting into this yuck... so it wasnt too fun.. and i was in a rush to get inside somewhere warm! So hopefully one day we'll get the chance to get back out there and take some decent pics!
